Our Mission:
Defending unique ecosystems from climate change.
Our soil and water restoration practices focus on optimizing the watershed in arid environments to maximize the use of rainwater across the landscape. This is done through the strategic construction of trincheras, beaver dam analogs, hugelkulturs, and other forms of natural infrastructure. These networks of natural infrastructure slow down the flow of rainwater to increase surface water, water absorption, and sediment capture. Our projects provide a solution for widespread soil degradation and ecosystem collapse in drought prone environments.
