Biodiversity

The grasslands of Southern Arizona are home to an incredibly diverse collection of plants and wildlife. In order to maintain this biodiversity it is vital that actions are taken to combat the effects of climate change.

The reintroduction of native plants into an ecosystem is extremely important for maintaining biodiversity in an environment. However, this is only successful if the plants are in an environment where they can succeed and will not be outcompeted by other invasive species. Our gabions and hugelkultur mounds create the perfect environment for reintroducing native plant species and allow them not just to survive, but to thrive.
